The Hawkins-Hartness House

Day 103 of 365

Raleigh’s North Blount Street is a designated historic district that contains a number of beautiful nineteenth century houses.  The Hawkins-Hartness House now services as the office of North Carolina’s lieutenant governor, but the house was originally home to Dr. Alexander B.  Hawkins.
